So you would not have Craig Conway back then? Are you saying he is dross?I saw him score a cracker a fortnight ago for Blackburn.Guys still got the ability to cut teams open with his passing through the eye of a needle.Give me one player who was on that level last time Roberts had us up in the championship he would be a great signing if he wanted to come back home

I would have loved Paddy McCourt last time we were up he is 34 now not sure if he has retired but the amount of goals Shanks would get playing with guys as good as that is a frightening thought a bit of experience goes a long way up there and bit of grace and guil crafting opening chances taking the ball in wee tight pockets of play picking teams open

Alan Mannus being released by St Johnstone. Need an experienced keeper whatever happens, he would be a good shout.

Johnny Tuffey would be good if we could get him back across the water to work for McCall again

Hopefully we can get a resilient squad and the main aim must be consolidation!

Never saw Lyle Avici and Craig Waitte play so can't comment but wish them all the best.

Good luck and thanks to Craig Reid, honest, hard working player. Probably right as I think he would struggle in the championship.

Good luck and thanks to Paddy Boyle been a hard working and solid player in his three seasons in his club and did a decent job at left back/stand in captain particularly the two seasons in league 1, again would struggle in the championship. I know someone on here once claimed he was Ayr United's worst ever left back but that is total nonsense - Marc Humphries is out of sight on that one.

i see that cypriot player who ripped us apart at right back in one of the games last season has been released by st.midden, if he were a left back he  would do nicely......

Left back is his natural position but can also play right back. I thought he played left back against us.
