Away to Falkirk - 3rd Nov
« on: October 31, 2018, 09:01:02 »
Ok should be a good crowd for this one, with at least 3 supporters buses that I am aware of heading to the game.

Not going to be easy, given they have just drawn with Ross County and had a 2 goal head start at the earlier game at Somerset. So will be a real test of character for both sides, i.e. are Falkirk really starting to improve and improving or can Super Ayr get back on a winning streak to follow on from Alloa win.

I think the 1st goal will be crucial in this game, Ayr score and game will be won, Falkirk score and best case draw.

Going to continue with the positivity  for a change and predict a 2-0 Ayr win with a Ayr support of about 550.

Look at match stats from the Falkirk/Ross C game and they got an own goal and had only 5 shots on goal. Not going to be easy but if have any aspirations of staying up/going up this is the kind of game we need to take something from - they are devoid of confidence so if we score early I think they will fall apart.

3 points on Saturday and we are 24 points (8 wins) ahead of Falkirk. Most of us still looking at the bottom, because we are scarred by St Midden making up a big gap last time, but surely that many points, given that we would be bound to pick up something from the remaining 24 games, means it is unlikely we will finish bottom.

Last night's score hasn't changed one horrible statistic - none of the Falkirk team have scored at home in the league yet!

The weather could be a leveller but hopefully we're still top come the end of the day.

Fans are asked to arrive as early as possible as there will be searching at turnstiles

Just to make sure everyone aware, match preview confirms searching at the turnstiles. - what a pain in the rear and not sure why sudden change of policy. Didn't make Partick game so don't know if any searches but nothing at Dingwall game.

Based on league table we should win, but everyone expecting our bubble to burst. Really hope we get the 3 points this weekend and County drop more points. A little gap at the top of the table would be nice viewing on Saturday evening.

Going for a 2-0 win with away crowd of approx 530.

I know there is a long way to go but I used to live in Leicester and friends there say it's just the same. Everyone expected them to lose or get caught. It's clear McCall and the players believe they can do it.

At the time I thought it was a soft goal to concede and the keeper should have saved it but looking at the highlights there were four or five good moves leading up to it and it was a good strike from Moore. A great team goal.
Also enjoyed the videos of the guy who got chucked out climbing up a tree to watch the game !
