According to the Non League Scotland website the capacity is 1,500 with no seats, no floodlights and a " severe slope".
Be prepared for an early kick off.

I was in Beith today and popped into the ground for a wee nosey.   This is a banana skin for us.  The pitch is very small and will be cluttered.  A quick passing, slick game, it will not be.  If this is not all ticket it will be a disaster.  The ground is tiny.  I think it is great that junior teams are in this competition, but a scenario likes this makes perfect sense to move it to Somerset.

I'm not convinced we will take that many to this game. It appeals to me being a groundbagging anorak type but I wouldn't be surprised if many Ayr fans treat it as a walkover and do something else on the 24th.

Sounds like similar situation to the game against Lochee Utd, lost count number of times postponed and then played Wednesday afternoon if I remember correct with about a 1000 in attendance.

Don't think it will be a full house considering we don't get that many for a home game currently but should take a good few hundred.

Have I missed any news about tickets or KO time ????

When they played Morton two years ago the crowd was 1,700 with about 1000 away fans.
According to their website the capacity is 2000.

Normally love the cup but this time around I would happily lose to Beith if we get promoted.

No No no... we need to win this game. Can't take the risk of losing the game and impact to confidence.  Plus the additional income of a cup run will potentially allow additional players in January if required to continue to push for Championship survival.

why would they move it and give up home advantage when their park holds 4,000?

TBH Don't know either. Something to do with the historical Hearts game, but let's be honest we won't bring a crowd the size of Hearts, so can't see any reason for the game to be moved.

Could any decision to move it be based on whether the match gets on the TV rather than crowd size.

I'm torn between thinking that it will be a tough game as they will be well up for it and are a decent junior side and then weighing that up against Willie Lyle/Mark Shankland/Gordon Pope being regular starters for them - weather between now and then going to be a factor as well- could easily see them not having a game for a few weeks if there is a lengthy cold snap or lengthy period of wet weather.
