AUFC Talk / Re: Morton v Ayr.

0-0. Pretty disappointing performance. Very puzzled as to why our best player by a mile Michael Moffat was subbed.

Moff took a heavy knock about 10 mins before h/t. I was surprised to see him start the second half.

AUFC Talk / Re: Training Methods Etc.
« on: January 11, 2019, 16:45:07  »
I do not think McCall/Scully/Stewart are likely to employ training methods much different to all the other clubs they have managed/coached/played for. I suspect the reason for our current injury level is as much to do with too small a squad and player playing when not fully fit and not getting a chance to get recovery time.

Lost 5-2 according to the SPFL website.

Murdoch played very well. Aggressive in the tackle and mopped up the lose ball. Just played the simple pass to others in better position. A bit like Doc at his best but I think even better. He would be a very good addition.

I think Stranraer have had points deducted and if either Ayr or Morton win the game at Cappielow on Wed night they will win the league.

When I first went to Somerset there was a turnstile between the Railway End and the North Terrace.

Great win one I could never have predicted after the first 20 minutes. Full marks to Davie White for his substitutions and tactical/positional changes.

Bigger print when selecting topics and numbers for changing pages for old arthritic fingers. Other than that very happy with it.

Ayr drew 2-2 tonight to deny QOS the league. Goals from Nesbit and Pedro. Shaun Newman saved a penalty just after we equalised.

A good 4-0 win tonight. Goals from Nisbet (2) Darren McGill and McGuffie. Nissy carried off after a clash with their keeper some 35yds from goal.

Stenny's next three games Morton (a), Stranraer (a), Brechin (h). We have Peterhead (h), Airdrie (a) and Stirling (h). We need to get three more points than them from these games to avoid a bowel loosening trip to Forfar.

Disappointed to only get one point but again impressed with the performance, effort and commitment.
At the players sponsors event after the game the players are all confident they will not be relegated.
