That's a good read in the Ayrshire Post

Just what we want to hear from Lachlan when he says that this is a once in a generation chance to go for the topflight, and Lawrence has a huge value to this club and is vital to what we're doing

Couldn't agree more Mr Cameron

Dear oh dear that's a bit of a mess
That turnstile won't be open on Friday

AUFC Talk / Re: Beith Game
« on: November 26, 2018, 20:17:23  »
Winning the toss was important so that we played up the hill in the first half and downhill in the second

Lawrence was unlucky with his shot in the first half, and we got nothing from that wee fella that ran around in the referees shirt

I'm actually glad that we've got another junior ground to visit

Great atmosphere at the Beith game, really looking forward to the game at Auchinleck, and yes they should play it there

I see that the scaffolding is up at Somerset for the following weeks game, so they've been quick in getting it erected

Tough game on Friday but we can do it

Ayr United - Archive / History / Re: Davie Stewart
« on: November 14, 2018, 13:26:24  »
Very fond memories of Davie playing in Ayr goals. That era was when I started watching Ayr, and what a great goalkeeper he was

Thanks for all the memories

I have not been to this ground yet, so expect that there will be some more who wish to tick this one off

Its the distance with this one. Would like to say more than 500 but think if we can take that many then that would be a terrific support

WTF ???

AUFC Talk / Re: Dunfermline - 25th Aug.
« on: August 21, 2018, 11:49:08  »
I expect that Dunfermline will bring down a fair support, so should be a good atmosphere.
Think the crowd could be a bit larger than you say Shingles. Partly due to all the talk about Shankland, and also folk coming along to see how we are playing at this level
Looking forward to it

AUFC Talk / Re: Johnny Hubbard
« on: June 24, 2018, 13:21:22  »
He was such a great guy, so friendly
We always had teams in to the tournament ( had such a laugh choosing crazy names 😀 ) so well organised every year

I didn't know who Johnny was at first but he would love a chat with folk, and I remember well him smiling and chatting

Thoughts are with the family
