AUFC Talk / Morton v Ayr.
« on: February 12, 2019, 10:27:17  »
Right back to action this weekend, not much news on the injury front but here's hoping as predicted Adams & Kerr available for selection.

Don't really care anymore about the manner of victory in these last few games as long as the 3 points are collected. Free flowing, goal scoring would be great but 3 points is all that matters.

All the media chat is about County & DUFC, so lets do our talking on the pitch and keep picking up the points and see what happens.

Prediction, close encounter but Ayr to edge it 2-1. (No repeat of the 5-1 - would be nice ;D)

Livingston won 6-0 (against Albion Rovers) to remain top of the table.. from my estimations 7 games to go.

Win, Lose or draw... please please let Super Ayr score a couple of goals. Don't really care who scores them, Moore would be nice, but please at least make a game of and score.

Getting really concerned DUFC will get revenge for the earlier 5-0 and could be the same in reverse on Friday.

Going to be in optimistic mode and predict Super Ayr back to winning way and run out a 2-0 win.

Won't stop the rumors but at least explains our current status.

Not sure if this is promising news or not. What I do like, is the fact that McCall is considering adding to the squad for the final push.

All we need is an early goal, settle any tension and then go for the thumping win 4 or 5 please.

How about reckoning we'll hold on to our best players and aim to finish top? If we don't manage that it won't be a disaster but it surely should be our aim. Actually, it's every club's aim in a sense, in that you always want to win your next game.
Totally agree Ian.. no matter what happens teams will still take points of other teams and we can remain confident to continue our presence at the top of the table.  I guess given Ayr's history we are all waiting for the enviable collapse and dropping points.

I have a family member who supports Dunfermline and they stated before the season started an easy 12 points for Dunfermline this season.,,, so for that reason alone I really hope we score ten this weekend and take the 3 points. [emoji2]

Quite often when a manager is disparate for a result there is one freak result which buys them some time, just really hope itís not this weekend and In fact super Ayr put the final nail in AJís departure.

AUFC Talk / Re: Doohan Rumour.
« on: December 17, 2018, 10:01:08  »
Hope this is just a rumour, Dorus De Vries might actually be a better keeper but I would rather keep the same team, as the defense understand Doohan way of playing / partnership etc.

January is going to be a horrible month of speculation of transfer stories. not looking forward to it.

Great News... Shankland is staying till end of the season.

Good listen, looking forward to part 2.

Remember the centenary cup final, 2 finals in a row, if only we would know what was to follow. [emoji23]

Getting nervous for this game. Which Ayr team going to turn up.

Really hope for early goal, settle any nerves and would be great to be 2-0 at HT.

At the moment would settle for a draw but given the performance against Dundee Utd can't see why we can't win this. County have not exactly been performing well themselves recently so could be an edgy game.

Just to confirm and ensure everyone aware..

Due to damage to the Somerset Road end turnstiles, home fans will enter through turnstiles 2, 3 and 5 at the Railway End.  From here you will be able to transfer from one end to the other for the match.  Entry to the North Terrace and Main Stand remain unchanged.  Please arrive in plenty of time as this area may become congested.

I'm guessing entry via the north terrace to SRE would be the easier option.
