Very harsh on Robbie who has played well in the middle of the midfield, id be more inclined to drop murdoch if you were insisting on muirhead starting, but its all amatter of opinions.....muirhead was holding the back of his thigh a few times on tuesday, hopefully hes not picked up the Sean Higgins hoodoo.....

the game was a lot more comfortable than ther scpore suggests, could it be because Dundee United didnt sit in & defend & we found it easier to play against them?  Anyway thoroughly deserved 3 ponts, we outplayed, outthought & outfought them in every dept......

i presume its them thats bid for Smith (would be better seeing what league we are in next season before signing anything), i wonder who's bid for Rose, Crawford (surely not a down step to Hamilton) & Shankland (apart from Swansea)??

According to the BBC, the "derisory" bid was made by Dundee Utd for Smith and bids have also been made for Shankland, Moffat and Rose.
dont remember such interest in Ayr players since the dys of cutty, dixie, dick malone etc.....good for the club , hope we can hold on to them all....

It gave us a clear indication what a post-Shankland team will be like from now till the end of the season.

If he does leave in January, we will be lucky to avoid relegation even after an excellent first half of the season, because teams like Falkirk and Partick will surely improve massively and even Alloa have gained ground on us over the last few weeks.

eh, i doubt it, even a complete collapse (which won't happen) wouldnt leave us in relegation trouble..
I'm consistently amazed how fickle football fans are but we're still 2nd top the last time i looked...with a gam ein hand

posted this elsewhere but its more relevant here:

I'd aslo expect Partick, Morton , Falkirk etc all to strengthen in the transfer window so it mayy be a whole lot tougher after Christmas........unless we strengthen ourseves, but i dont think we are weak in any positions really

Remember we still have to play a team from Dundee twice before May. There's yer extra six points on a plate ;D
It could have been but now, with a new american millionaire owner who has stated thet he'll be putting money in the managers hand come january, they may be a completely different animal.
