Board Software
« on: June 12, 2018, 12:38:25 »
Ok I feel this free forum software is showing it's age and lacking some features. I am considering migrating to the same software as used on Pie & Bovril  or just holding out until this software gets upgraded which is an unknown timescale.

Since you the users are important to the future of the forum I will see how the voting goes.

Also open to suggestions for alternatives for consideration.

Neck & Neck.. which I find surprising, I thought a change in software would be required.

OK that results surprises me but also re-assuring to know that some people like the existing system.

Due to the added costs involved in moving to the IP Board software, I will put that option on hold for the moment based on the vote and watch how the development of the latest version of this software (2.1) progresses, but because open source (i.e. free) there is no timescale and already has been in development for several years.

Thanks for voting.
